Message from the Author

Hello, and thank you for visiting my website. Like many academics, I always enjoyed reading, writing, and research. Most of my research and writing was about business, organizational behavior, and neuroscience. Then, a few years ago, I had an idea about researching and writing a Christian historical fiction novel about The Mantle, the cloth that covered the head of Jesus in the tomb. Unfortunately, I left the mantle idea in the tomb until the pandemic. I gave myself a goal of completing the book by April 2023, and finally, The Mantle book is complete and the first in a series. My second book in the series, Number 12, will be released for Christmas 2023.

I was fortunate to have been taught in high school by Dr. Mark Hobson many years ago. His passion of teaching led me to sign up for a bible study course he conducted in which my faith was reinforced. Mark’s most recent work, The Mantle, is a continuation of my focus on faith. It is an amazing piece that weaves fiction into faith in an interesting, enlightening and compelling way. It is tough to put the book down once you start reading! Perhaps Mark’s greatest gift is his passion to help make this world a greater place for all with equality in opportunity, health and healing at the forefront.

Once in a while one rare book comes along and captures your complete attention. The Mantle is that rare book. A beautifully written Christian historical account of the Mantle of Jesus. It’s captivating story that has left a powerful personal imprint on my being. Each Chapter is special in its own content, and I found myself referring back to them after reading the whole book. The Mantle is a must read.
